Traction Charger eCommerce Website

Traction Charger Square White__small.jpg

Battery charging innovation experts Traction Charger increasingly felt that their existing site no longer met their needs. It needed attention to make it SEO friendly, it needed linking with social media channels, and it needed better accessibility on a mobile, but the biggest issue they faced is that their existing website company would charge for each amend required and were slow to respond to change requests.

Traction needed a site that could tick all their performance objectives, but also something they could manage themselves ongoing.

The site had a duel purpose. It needed to effectively communicate the brand to it's existing clients - those that were managed and serviced offline, but also to open up the market for new customers who wanted to buy directly, from all over the world.

Cherry Marketing set to work, starting with a new user journey for the content, and shop that would showcase products and allow customers to shop easily and quickly. Branding was the second stage - print adverts and other collateral that we'd recently created gave us a platform for upgrading the online branding.

TC Case Study

One of the biggest changes to the site is the homepage. It now focuses on the company's core messages of service, innovation, quality and UK-made. These 4 pillars underpin all their marketing activity and needed to be explained clearly for those landing on the page, helping to strengthen the brand.

The shop function was also critical. The store is built from the products up, allowing the client to alter small details such as size and weight, add new SKUs, images or prices, and categorise neatly. The back end is linked to Stripe so transactions are handled securely and easily.

Now launched, the company are delighted with the results and finding the back end CMS extremely manageable, adding products and changing detail with ease.
