The Curtain Company Website

Bespoke curtain and blind business The Curtain Company approached Cherry Marketing for help with their branding, website and online presence. They needed a new logo that reflected their soft and contemporary style, with a colour scheme that demonstrates their flexible approach to interiors, and a website that was plugged into social, SEO friendly, mobile friendly and could generate enquiries.

THE CURTAIN COMPANY LOGO.png

We provided a range of logo options, using different fonts, colours and icons so The Curtain Company had choice and could choose the logo that best represented their company. We chose a caps sans serif font for both the company name and strap line for a fresh feel, and brought in a geometric flower icon that hints at design and the balance that interior design brings to a space. Mustard yellow is fashionable and works with many colour schemes so was an ideal accent colour on a grey backdrop.

The client provided all images and copy so our role was to create a website that focuses on the user journey, helping visitors to easily recognise the services offered, substantiated with imagery.

The Curtain Company Imagery Website Case Study

A critical point was working with case study images that weren’t necessarily the right resolution, shape and which weren’t taken specifically for the website - as is often found on national competitor websites. It was important to reflect real designs that the company had created. We worked with the client to refine the image choice until each image was perfect.

Forms were set up so that the client would be sent enquiries directly, social channels were reformatted and linked up, and the site was plugged into Google My Business so that eventually it will appear in local listing searches.

One of our biggest challenges was to locate the various domain names and email inboxes linked to the old site and re-point these to the new site without losing any correspondence on the different email addresses that existed. This was all done within Squarespace so that the client now has a single point of entry for all digital communications.

The back end of our websites are very easy to manage ongoing so we trained up our client on the main elements they may ever need to change, so they could go forward without needing our help for any small changes such as copy amends, notifications and new case studies added.

I had been looking to update my website for a while and I was recommended Cherry Marketing and Lydia.
I didn’t realise it could be so easy, i’m not a ‘techy’ but Lydia enabled me to pull out the relevant bits from my old website and pull together a completely fresh and modern design for my new one.
Her ideas for a new logo fitted perfectly with the look I wanted to portray. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very patient while we sorted a mass of photographs to include. I am delighted.
